This is a story born from real events in a dark and largely forgotten period of human history, an era when the Nazis rose to power and the world was once again plunged into war. This is a story that needs to be taught and remembered, not buried in silence. How much longer will such stories stay hidden in the darkness and captivity, unseen and unheard? Thousands of people were persecuted, imprisoned in health institutions, dehumanized, erased, and silenced simply for being different. History is forgotten far too often, far too easily. It is the duty of all of us, of all humanity, to remember these dark events, to remind people of them, and to learn from them so that they never happen again in the future.

How many more years will their souls remain in captivity, forgotten, and untold? They will not find peace until this dark, tragic period of human history is acknowledged, confronted, and taught to the world.

Hundreds of thousands of innocent people were tortured, slaughtered, experime5ted on like laboratory animals simply because they were disabled or mentally ill, yet their cries were not heard enough. Among them were men and women, children and babies, even newborn infants. They were taken from the streets like discarded items, or the Collectors came and dragged them away from their homes. Sometimes they were handed over to the Collectors by their own families.

Years have passed, and their stories are still rarely mentioned. They are buried in the pages of history, almost forgotten. Many people still don’t
know what happened to the more than 400,000 mentally or physically disabled individuals in Nazi Germany.

I am ashamed to admit that I was once among those unaware
of this heartbreaking tragedy. Despite the mass atrocities committed against disabled people by the Nazis, their stories are rarely
mentioned in films or books. That is why I have made it my mission to raise awareness about these inhumane crimes to contribute to preventing the repetition of the terrible mistakes of the past in my own way. I will not stop fighting until the tragic stories of disabled people who suffered under the Nazi regime, are finally heard by the world, and their troubled souls find peace.
It is time to share their stories to remind the world of what exactly happened to the people with disabilities in Nazi Germany. To serve this purpose, after long months of research, I wrote this novel, a period‑drama thriller. Its name is The Prisoners of the Forgotten Past.

As a writer, I did my part. I must confess, no other work has ever made me cry while writing it. I poured my heart and soul into it to make it impactful and unforgettable. This book is not only a period drama thriller, it’s also an epic tale of courage fueled by love, of hope rising from the ashes of despair.
I shared the novel’s screenplay version with several respected film professionals and a world-renowned actress. All of them gave extremely positive and encouraging feedback. They described it was original, powerful, and deeply emotional. Even a famous cinematographer of major blockbuster films told me,

“This is a powerful, Oscar-dripping story. I couldn’t put it down. If it ever becomes a film, I want to be the cinematographer.”

It was then I realized, more than ever, how important this story was.

What makes Prisoners of the Forgotten Past impactful and unique is its purpose and message. They will resonate with readers around the world.

Writing is a difficult craft. Being a writer is even more difficult. Every life has its ups and downs, but a writer’s life is filled with far more downs than ups. Some writers never experience a single “breakthrough.” Their world is full of competition, rejection, broken dreams, failures, and disappointments, even when they deserve better. Despite the hardships and discouragement, they continue to write, refusing to give up.

I salute each and every one of them.

Many talented writers have wonderful manuscripts, but most of them have ever seen the light of day. The reason they remain undiscovered isn’t always a lack of talent, but the walls major publishers build around themselves instead of bridges. Their work get wasted, their voices remain unheard. Hope and passion keep writers going, although they sometimes feel trapped in a cell, waiting to be set free, like some characters in my novel.

Books can change how we see the world. That’s why I’ve dedicated this part of my life to writing books that are inspiring, books that impact people and give them a new perspective on life. Because I know, “Authors who write great books die too one day, but their names live on forever.”

Sometimes people look back on their lives and regret the things they wanted to do but didn’t. I’m no different. But if this book achieves its purpose, I’ll never look back on my life and regret again.

Prisoners of the Forgotten Past bravely and realistically recounts the horrific experiences of hundreds of thousands of disabled victims who were killed and tortured in ways no one could imagine in Nazi Germany.

Prisoners of the Forgotten Past brings to light one of the darkest periods of human history and tells how love, courage and hope can bloom in a world filled with fear, suspense, and horror.

It’s a tale of those who cling to hope amidst a sea of shattered lives, lost dreams, broken hopes and hearts.

Prisoners of the Forgotten Past is one of the rare, perhaps the only, fictional books dedicated to disabled people who were subjected to horrific tortures under the guise of “experiment” in Nazi Germany

Prisoners of the Forgotten Past also draws attention to artists who were driven into poverty and despair by the harsh restrictions of the Nazi regime.

Their stories have long been forgotten in the dusty pages of history. Now is the time to tell the world that they once existed and suffered at the hands of the Nazis, and how sad it is that they haven’t received enough attention.

Prisoners of the Forgotten Past aims to tell future generations that how one man can cost millions of lives.

This book aims to help the cries of these innocent souls be heard by the world so that they may finally REST IN PEACE.
